Another shiny lightbulb lit up in my otherwise empty head 2day...conceptele d trend si anti-trend. Adik, c face sa s nask un trend? K d altfel, suntem oare convinsi k anti-trendul este reactzia d respingere a trendului? Iar knd anti-trendul devine trend, va aparea oare un anti-anti-trend identic cu trendul initzial? Astept pareri, idei, trenduri si trendsetteri, anti-trenduri and u get the pic.

Pai... trendurile apar din cauza modei si a tendintelor.. si din cauza asa numitelor vip-uri.. Oamenii vad ce poarta ala, ala si in functie de preferinte se imbraca si ei la fel... Sincer..nush de ce apare anti trendul.. i mean intotdeauna o sa fie oameni kre nu o sa se imbrace trendy pt k nu vor.. dar nu inseamna k ei inceark din tot sufletu sa fie anti trendy..

Ok, faza k la trend vs anti-trend nu ma refer numai la haine, ci la notziunile lor in general, c definesc o atitudine: haine, muzik, evenimente culturalemondene, tipuri de personalitate etc. Un domeniu cat mai extins legat d toate aspectele vietzii.

Intr-adevar, si eu sustzin k ideea d trend s bazeaza p "monkey see, monkey do", iar anti-trendul ia nastere din "rather be dead than cool". Insa c s intampla knd idiotzii kre au facut trendul trend se muta spre anti-trend si il baga in mainstream? Spre exemplu, chestia cu grunge-ul (sau punk, luatzi c vretzi). Au aparut k moduri d viatza (sisau muzik) in underground, dar knd au ajuns sa fie populare, si-au pierdut nu numai originalitatea, ci si atitudinea kre ii caracterizase d la inceput din cauza nenumaratzilor poseri. Asta mi s pare total airea si unfair fatza d genratziile portretizate. Ma intreb d c lumea kre s incapatzaneaza cu orice pretz sa fie "cool" distruge ideologii d atfel bune. Oh well, whatever, nevermind...

Trendurile vin si trec (vezi trendul 'I love Eminem' de acum vreo 3-4 ani ), important este ca fiecare sa-si pastreze propriul sistem de valori, gusturile (in orice domeniu) sa nu se schimbe pe baza criteriilor de genul 'Au zis in revista X ca asta nu mai e cool'. Ciudat...si sincer, chiar nu vad cum ar putea fi rau. Doar in cazul in care nu i-ai zis vreunui prof 'Esti prost' sau ceva similar (chiar daca ar fi adevarat ca e ) sau directorului ca e incapabil, sau...nu stiu....ceva in genul asta...chiar nu cred ca poate sa-ti aduca prejudicii asa de mari. Sa spui ce gandesti e o dovada de curaj si, bottom line, e spre binele tau.

Okay, da, probabil sunt dator cu un fel de reformulare. Nu ma intereseaza ce inseamna mainstream ACUM. Indeed, pe vremea aia parca oamenii aveau gusturi mai bune decat acum. Geez, te gandesti ca opinia publica, care a putut candva sa ii aduca pe Zeppelin, Metallica, Pink Floyd etc la statutul de super staruri acum fac la fel cu toti rahatii de manelisti (in Romania) si cu toti poserii pe plan international (a se vedea Tokio Hotel, Pussycat Dolls, Beyonce etc). The world just keeps gettin' dumber...

Wait, m-am mai gandit la ceva. O reformulare a reformularii, ca sa zic asa Da, Led Zeppelin au fost trendy la vremea lor din 2 mari motive: 1.Motivul majoritar: stupid people who would fuck... not Slash ... but either Jimmy or Robert. It's true, there were many stupid people back then too who would listen to Zeppelin without realising that they were witnessing history in the making, but simply because of the band member's devlish good looks. Probabil ca erau prea ocupati sa observe cat de buni erau pentru simplul motiv ca "ooh my Gooooooood he's soooooooo cuuute". Si ca sa nu ziceti ca sunt sexist, pot veni si cu alte exemple: Samantha Foxx. Yes, she actually had fans. Need I give any reasons? 2.Smart people who actually realised they were watching history in the making. But who knows how many of those REALLY were there?

I mean, the non-mainstream (pana atunci) grunge put an end to hair metal (thank God!), care a pornit din heavy metal, dar cu stupid lyrics (sa priceapa si pipitzele blonde, nu? :finger. Anyway, dar si heavy metal e derivat din punk samd. Una ajunge sa devina alter-egoul celeilate si, gradual, s-o inlocuiasaka.
